I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (which I originally featured in this post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also broken them in well that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where did you purchase them?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a solid deal going on.
Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were at my door by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
How much do they run?

These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how decked out they are.
Do they fit as expected?
I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up
Are they comfortable?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
